Fuses are sold individually

Time-delay, nonindicating UL Class J fuses tolerate temporary inrush currents without opening, which prevents nuisance-blowing from motor and equipment startups. Also called slow-blow Class J fuses, they open to disconnect an electrical circuit when exposed to sustained loads and short circuits. They have no indicator for identifying a blown fuse, so they’re sometimes used with an indicating fuse block or cover.

LPJ fuses provide enhanced protection for a wide range of industrial and commercial equipment, helping prevent costly downtime and equipment damage. Their dual-element, current-limiting design allows for reliable operation under fluctuating loads.

Bussmann® series Ultimate Protection LPJ Class J dual-element, current-limiting, time-delay fuses are available with optional open-fuse indication. They provide a minimum 10-second time-delay at 500 percent of their rated current.

Bussmann LPJ fuses are a preferred choice for engineers seeking consistent performance and long-term reliability, making them suitable for motor circuits, transformers, and other critical applications. These LPJ fuses combine fast-acting short-circuit interruption with the tolerance for temporary overloads, ensuring both safety and efficiency.
